Rebecca Suggs

Rebecca Westbrook Suggs, 76, of Gastonia, passed away at home on August 21, 2022. She was born December 23, 1945, in Gaston County, to the late Jones Westbrook and Ruth Smith Westbrook.

She is preceded in death by her son, Thomas Humphries and brother Bill Westbrook.

Rebecca loved her Lord and her family. She liked to knit, crochet and was a member of Trinity Assembly Evangelical Church.

Left to cherish her memory is her husband, William “Bill” Isaac Suggs; daughter, Jodie Cogdell (Ernest); grandchildren, Chip Cogdell, Abigail Cogdell, Alana Cogdell, Richard Robinson; sisters, Sherry Hamrick, Alice Crabtree.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Sisk-Butler Funeral Home.

Rebecca’s funeral service will be held 2:00 PM on Wednesday August 24, 2022, at Sisk-Butler Funeral Home with Pastor Lee Russell officiating.

Interment will follow at Trinity Assembly Evangelical Church Cemetery.
