Amanda Black

Amanda Kay Wright Black, 67, passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday December 20, 2016. She was born on December 11, 1949 in Gaston County, NC to the late William Raymond and Mary Kathleen Smith Wright.

She was preceded in death by her son Jeff Black; brother, Clyde Richard Wright, sister, Jenny Wright.

Left to cherish her memories are her husband Danny Black; daughters, Lisa Almond and husband Frank of Dallas, Sherry Stephens of Maiden; grandchildren, Ashley Almond, Casey Almond, Ryan Arbogast.

Amanda was a member of Westview Baptist Church and retired from Advance Auto Distribution Center. She will be greatly missed by all that knew her. The family wishes a special thank you to Gaston County Hospice.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 pm on Thursday December 22, 2016 at Sisk-Butler Funeral & Cremation Services, Bessemer City.

Her funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm Friday, December 23, 2016 at Sisk-Butler Funeral & Cremation Services with the Rev Jerry Millwood officiating.

Interment will follow Gaston Memorial Park.
