Annette Pruitt

Annette Owens Pruitt, 64, of Kings Mountain passed away on May 13, 2014 at Cleveland Regional Medical Center, Shelby. She was born June 19, 1949 in Cleveland County, NC, to the late Hoyle Edward and Lucille Mullinax Owens.

Annette was a homemaker and an unselfish caregiver to many. She put others first at all times. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.

She is survived by her son, Wayne Edward Gregory and wife Kelly of Shelby; sister, Janelle Owens Truesdale of Kings Mountain; grandchildren, Michael, Justin and Chase Gregory; great-grandchildren, Tobias and Ayden Gregory; a number of nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband Donald Gene Pruitt.

Her funeral service will be held 2:00 PM Friday at Sisk-Butler Funeral and Cremation Services, Bessemer City with Rev. Henry Jenkins, Rev. Matt Lewis officiating.

Interment will follow at Mountain Rest Cemetery, Kings Mountain.

The family will receive friends one hour before the service at the funeral home.
