Annie Tiday

Annie Mae Bogar Tiday 86, of Bessemer City passed away on May 29, 2014 at Caromont Regional Medical Center, Gastonia. She was born September 14, 1927 in Cabarrus County, to the late Floyd and Sarah Elizabeth Carter Bogar.

Annie was a member of Dallas Church of God.

She is survived by her son, Harvey R. "Ducky" Tiday of Bessemer City; daughters, Mary Lou Smith and Elizabeth Tiday both of Colstrip, Montana; 12 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, James Calvin Tiday; daughter, Shelby Jean Tiday Morrison.

Her funeral service will be held 11:00 AM Wednesday at Dallas Church of God with Rev. D. R. Shortridge officiating.

Interment will follow at Bessemer City Memorial Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 - 8:00 pm Tuesday at Sisk-Butler Funeral Home, Bessemer City.
