"B.A." Beeler Moore, Jr.

"B.A.” Beeler Arnold Moore, Jr., 73, of Dallas, peacefully passed away on March 11, 2022, and was met by his heavenly Father. He was born December 11, 1948, in Gaston County, to the late Beeler Arnold Moore, Sr. and Rose Lee Holt Moore.

He is preceded in death by numerous siblings.

B.A. was a faithful servant to his community, a lover of Carolina Tarheels and Atlanta Braves, avid Bigfoot hunter, epic breakfast maker, and a gentle soul. He never met a stranger. B.A. loved to play golf, fish and work in his tomato garden.

B.A. was a longtime, devoted member of Covenant United Methodist Church where he served as a youth leader, member of the choir, member of the United Methodist Men, member of several boards, and played every one’s favorite Santa at Christmas.

He was a loving husband, legendary father, and a friend to all he met.

The family would like to thank Belaire Health Care Center for their commitment to B.A.’s care and support during his time there.

Left to cherish his memory is his wife of 48 years, Carolyn Galloway Moore; daughter, Leanne Flowers (Joseph); grand dog, Mallory; “adopted” daughters who affectionately called him “Bad Ass”; numerous nieces and nephews.

Come as you are to the receiving of friends Thursday, March 17, 2022, from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Covenant United Methodist Church.

B.A.’s celebration of life service will be held 2:00 PM on Thursday, March 17, 2022, at Covenant United Methodist Church with Rev. Larry Taylor officiating.

Interment will follow at Gaston Memorial Park.

The family requests that everyone in attendance please wear Carolina Blue in honor of B.A.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to Covenant United Methodist Church.
