BARBARA BALLEW



Barbara Ann Heffner Ballew, 72, of Bessemer City, passed away at Robin Johnson House on February 4, 2013.  She was born May 10, 1940 in Gaston County to the late Johnny and Myrtle Parton Kelly and to the late Jim Heffner.



Barbara was a member of 8th Street Church of God



She is survived by her husband Wade H. Ballew, sons Jeff Ballew and wife Lena and Dale Ballew of Bessemer City; daughter Dawn Ballew and fiancé Gary Ballard of Dallas; brother Jack Heffner of Salisbury, NC; 7 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.



She was preceded in death by brother Edward Heffner.



Her funeral service will be held at 2:00pm Saturday at 8th Street Church of God, Bessemer City with the Rev. Ronnie Pendleton officiating.



Interment will follow at Westview Gardens, Bessemer City.



The family will receive friend's Wednesday, 7:00-9:00 pm at Sisk-Butler Funeral Home, Bessemer City.
