Barbara Lemley

Barbara Jane Lemley, age 70, passed away peacefully on Wednesday July 12, 2017 while at Robin Johnson House. Born March 24, 1947, in Mecklenburg County, she was the daughter of the late Earl and Frances Martin Lemley.

She was preceded in death by her son, Jeffrey Blair Lemley, Sr.; four brothers, and one sister.

Left to cherish her memory are her daughters, Jennifer Lemley and fiancé Jackie Bates of the home and Julie Hamrick McKinney of Gastonia; brother, Bobby Lemley and wife Naomi of Ranlo; grandchildren, Jeffrey Lemley, Jr., Jacob Lemley, Nichalas Benton, and Rylan Bates; one great-grandson, Jeffrey Lemley, III.

Barbara's family would like to thank the Doctors and staff of Robin Johnson for the care given to Barbara during this difficult time.

Her family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 PM Friday, July 14, 2017 at Sisk-Butler Funeral & Cremation Services of Bessemer City.

A celebration of Barbara's life will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, July15, 2017 in the Sisk-Butler Chapel with Rev. Jerry Millwood officiating.

Interment will follow at Evergreen - A Quiet Place, located in Belmont, NC.
