Barbara Lynn Lingerfelt

Barbara Lynn Crawford Lingerfelt, 75, of Kings Mountain, passed away at Robin Johnson House on March 21, 2024. She was born June 2, 1948, in Mecklenburg County, to the late AC Crawford, Jr and Shirley Glenn Crawford. 

She is preceded in death by her husband, Boyce Lingerfelt; sister, Carol Bridges; and brother, Buddy Crawford.

Barbara was a cook at Victoria’s Diner in Clover, SC for 34 years. She enjoyed camping and riding motorcycles. She loved to mow the grass and to cook for her family. Barbara loved her family, especially her grandchildren because they were her world. 

Left to cherish her memories are her daughters, Kelly Lingerfelt (Martin Smith) of Stanley; Shannon Denton (Kenneth) of Kings Mountain; grandchildren, Justin Lingerfelt. (fiancé Amber Cloninger), Candace Lingerfelt, Steven Goode (Qi Yangyang) and Kendra Goode; great grandchildren, Adriana Allison, Damien Lingerfelt, Skyler Lingerfelt, Blade Lingerfelt, and Mila Lingerfelt. 

The family will receive friends from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Sisk-Butler Funeral Home on Sunday, March 24, 2024.

Barbara’s Graveside Service will follow at 3:15 PM at Bessemer City Memorial Cemetery with Pastor Van Spencer officiating.
