Becky Burr

Becky Howell Burr, 70, went to her Heavenly home at CaroMont Regional Medical Center on Thursday, January 21, 2021. She was born February 2, 1950 in Gaston County to the late Willie James Howell and Susan Carpenter Howell Mercer.

Becky loved the Lord and her family, especially her grandchildren. Becky raised her children while opening her home and heart in babysitting many others. She attended North Gaston Church of God, Dallas.

Left to cherish her memories are her husband of 50 years Raymond L. Burr; children Crystal Glance (Michael), Daniel Burr (Mandy), and Rhonda Burr-Hilburn (Buddy); sister Martha Cook (Bob); grandchildren Taylor Burr, Bailey Burr, Kelsey Burr, Seth Glance, Liam Hilburn, and Nicklaus Hilburn.

She will lie in state from 2:00 PM – 3:00 PM at Clover Liberty Pentecostal Church, 1045 N. Main St. Clover, SC 29710 on Saturday, January 23, 2021.

Becky’s funeral service will be held 3:00 PM on Saturday, January 23, 2021 at Clover Liberty Pentecostal Church, Clover, SC with Pastor Andy Nicholson and Pastor Michael Stephens officiating.

Graveside services will be held 2:00 pm Sunday, January 24, 2021 at Gaston Memorial Park, Gastonia.
