Beth Harmon

Beth Hager Harmon, 96, passed away on Tuesday March 22, 2017 at Alexandria Place, Gastonia. She was born on December 2, 1920 in Gaston County to the late Robert Lee and Ferrie Froneberger Hager.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Y. Harmon, Sr.; her sons, Ralph "Yates" Harmon, Jr, and wife Beryl, and Robert Harmon and wife Wanda; son-in-law, Steve Neal; her brothers, Mack, Lloyd, Floyd, Clyde, and Paul; her sisters, Eva Thompson, and Catherine Bridges.

Left to cherish her memory is her daughter, Marion Harmon Neal; her son, Larry Harmon and wife Gwyn; her sisters, Merle McKinnon and Gladys Morgan; sister-in-law, Shirley Hager; 7 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great granddaughter.

A funeral service to celebrate Beth's life will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, March 25, 2017 at Grace Lutheran Church of Bessemer City with Rev. Libby Toler officiating.

Interment will follow at Westview Gardens, Bessemer City.

Her family will receive friends from 10 to 10:45 prior to the service at the church.
