Betty Louise James Croft, 88, of Bessemer City, passed away at Caromont Regional Medical Center on April 21, 2022. She was born February 25, 1934, in Gaston County, to the late Efton Clifton James and Hattie Lee Sneed James.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Albert Jerry Croft; sons, Jerry Glenn Croft, Ricky Alan Croft; brother, Richard Samuel James; sisters, Peggy J. Paysour and Amanda Jane Hannah.
Left to cherish her memories are her sons, David Michael Croft (Mary), Jesse Croft (Robin); daughter, Melinda Sheryl Croft; 7 grandchildren, Amber, Sierra, Jesse, Savannah, Matthew, Jerran, Adreanna; 3 great-grandchildren Montana, Lily and Zoey; sisters, Irene Clark, Mary Ellen Shope (Larry), Gail Carter, and Lynn James.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Sunday, April 24, 2022, at Sisk-Butler Funeral Home.
Betty’s funeral service will be held 11:00 AM on Monday, April 25, 2022, at Sisk-Butler Funeral Home with Rev. Scott Rudisill officiating.
Interment will follow at Bessemer City Memorial Cemetery.
