Betty Hullett

Betty Crisp Hullett, 84, passed away May 11, 2013 at Gaston Memorial Hospital. She was born on February 6, 1929 to the late John Arvel and Blanche Crisp.

Betty was a member of South Gastonia Pentecostal Freewill Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, Odell James Hullett; sisters, Ruby Hill, Evelyn Lanning, Jean Thomason, Virginia Merdith, Nancy White, brother, Paul Crisp.

She is survived by her daughters, June Southworth and husband Ted, Dorothy Martin and husband Daniel all of Gastonia, brother, John Crisp of Gastonia, Bob Crisp of Clover; grandchildren's, Michael Martin and wife Jennifer of Gastonia, Lindsay Asch and husband Charlie of Baltimore, Courtney Southworth and boyfriend Adam Hill of Greensboro; great-grandchildren, Aiden and Bella Martin

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm Wednesday at Sisk-Butler Funeral and Cremation Services, Bessemer City with Rev. Arthur Cain officiating.

Interment will follow at Gaston Memorial Park, Gastonia.

The family will receive friends from 12:30-1:45 pm Wednesday at the funeral home.
