Beverly Mitchell

Beverly Ann Sisk Mitchell, 61, of Gastonia, passed away Monday, April 27, 2015, at Robin Johnson House, Dallas. She was born in Gaston County on July 6, 1953 to Mary "Jean" Sisk and the late Marvin Sisk.
Beverly was a dedicated follower of Jesus Christ and was a longtime member of Firestone Wesleyan Church. She was a registered nurse who was employed at Caromont Regional Medical Center for 42 years. Beverly was a faithful caregiver to family and friends. She was a loving wife, devoted mother, grandmother, daughter, sister and aunt. Beverly was loved by all and will be greatly missed.
Those she left behind are her husband of 38 years, Jeff Mitchell; son, Matt Mitchell and wife Laura; granddaughters, Hannah and Natalee; mother, Mary "Jean" Sisk; sister, Cara Sisk Moore; brother-in-law, Kirk Mitchell and wife Kay; and a number of nieces and nephews.
Beverly's family will receive friends Thursday from 6:00 PM to 8:00 pm at Sisk-Butler Funeral & Cremation Services, Bessemer City.
Her funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM Friday at Firestone Wesleyan Church, Gastonia, with the Rev. Roger Parsons, Rev. Wes Brown, and Rev. Wayne Spears officiating.
Interment will follow at Evergreen Cemetery, Belmont.
