BIRGIT  DIXON



Birgit Mayo Dixon, 59, of Bessemer City, died November 19, 2012, at Robin Johnson House, Dallas.  She was born July 19, 1953 in Germany to Robert H. Mayo of Apache Junction, Arizona and the late Katie Thurn Mayo.



Birgit was a loving mother, nana, daughter, sister and friend.



She is survived by her son, Robert Duane Dixon, Jr., daughter, Ashlee Michele Dixon; brothers and sister, Gerhard Mayo, of Clearfield, Utah, Mike Mayo of Layton, Utah, Linda Mayo Hoag of Redding, California, Stanton Mayo of Goodyear, Arizona, David Mayo of Clearfield, Utah; granddaughter, Bailee Grace Howell; dear friends, Linda Daniels, Duane and Gina Dixon; mother and father-in-law, Lee and Ruth Dixon.



Memorial service will be held at 7:00 PM Wednesday at Sisk-Butler Funeral Home, Bessemer City.



The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
