Boomer Totherow

Boomer Totherow, 84, of Bessemer City, passed away at Brian Center on Sunday, November 28, 2021. He was born April 26, 1937, in Cherokee County, son of the late Clayt and Hazel Totherow Huskins.

He was preceded in death by his half-brother Sonny Huskins.

Boomer was a member of New Life Baptist Church. He loved fishing, hunting, working in the garden and yard work. Boomer did upholstery work all his life.

Left to cherish his memories are his half-sisters, Martha Cannon (Jeff), and Ruth Henson (Wade); half-brothers, Woody Huskins, and David Huskins (Loretta); nieces and nephews, Becky and George Totherow, and Bobby and Sandra Wilson; brother-in-law Jimmy Rimmer; numerous great nieces and nephews.

Boomer’s memorial service will be held 5:00 PM on Sunday, December 5, 2021, at New Life Baptist Church with Pastor Dennis Gomez officiating.

The family will receive friends 1 hour prior to the funeral service.
