JOYCE  ELDERS



Brenda Joyce Deal Elders, 62, of Dallas, passed away at Gaston Memorial Hospital, Gastonia on February 3, 2013.  She was born March 15, 1950 in Gaston County to the late James and Ruth Deal.



Joyce was a former owner and operator of Fantastic Style, and was an avid fisherwoman who loved the beach. She was a loving wife, mother and maw maw.



She is survived by her husband Jimmy Elders; daughter Dana Johnson of Dallas, brother, Mike Deal of Dallas, sister, Becky Clark of Gastonia. She also had four grandchildren and two great- children.



She was preceded in death by her daughter Larissa Lynn Taylor, brother, Randy Deal and sister Jan Ledford.



Her funeral service will be held at 3:00 pm Wednesday at Sisk-Butler Funeral Home, Bessemer City with the Rev. Roy Dean Clark officiating.



Interment will follow at Westview Gardens, Bessemer City.



The family will receive friend's Tuesday, 6:00-8:00 pm at the funeral home.
