Buford Martin

Buford Webster Martin, Jr., 80, of Lincolnton, passed away June 17, 2012, at Carolina Medical Center, Lincolnton.  He was born June 14, 1932 in Georgia, to the late  Buford Webster Martin, Sr. and Lucille Hardy Martin.



Buford was a member of Independent Baptist Tabernacle Church in Dallas.



A funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 21, 2012 at 2:00 PM at Independent Baptist Tabernacle Church with Rev. Rev. Ralph Carver and Rev. Roy Clark officiating.



Interment will follow at Westview Gardens, Bessemer City.



Visitation will be held Wednesday, June 20, 2012 from 6:00 - 8:00 PM at Sisk-Butler Funeral Home, Bessemer City.



He is survived by his, brothers, James Martin of Georgia, Louis Martin of Greenville, SC, Benny Martin of Gastonia



He was preceded in death by his wife Hazel Stiles Martin; daughter; Rose Mary Martin; sisters, Shirley Martin, Edith Campbell, Betty Sisk; brother, Jesse H. Martin
