Cecilia Yelton

Cecilia Carol Revels Yelton, 62, of Gastonia, passed away on Monday May 18, 2015 at home. She was born on August 26, 1952 in Gaston County, to the late James Thomas and Helen Lunsford Revels.

She was preceded in death by her beloved pastor, Frank Morales of Shepherds Flock in Yonkers, New York.

Cecilia was a child of God and loved the Lord.

Cecilia is survived by her loving husband of 46 years, Fred Yelton; her children, Angela Yelton of Bostic, Denise Yelton Smith and husband Dana of Gastonia, and Freddy Yelton Jr. of Kings Mountain; sister Nadine Hollifield of Kings Mountain; brothers Keith Revels of Gastonia, and James Revels of Dallas, NC; 8 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 6:00pm - 8:00pm Wednesday, May 20, 2015 at Sisk-Butler Funeral and Cremation Services, Bessemer City, NC.

Her funeral service will be held at 1:00 pm Thursday, May 21, 2015 in the Sisk-Butler Chapel with the Rev. James Meadows officiating. An additional visitation will be held one hour prior to the funeral service.

Interment will follow in Olney Presbyterian Cemetery, Gastonia, NC.
