Clara Biddix

Clara May Biddix, 78, of Gastonia, passed away on October 29, 2015 at Caromont Regional Medical Center. She was born on July 19, 1937 in Gaston County, to the late Homer and Cynthia Burch May.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Willie B. Biddix.

Clara attended Truevine Church of God in Gastonia.

Clara is survived by her daughter Marie Owens of Gastonia; brother, Charles May and wife Sarah of Gastonia; sister, Frances Groves and husband Walt Bentley of York, SC; grandchildren, Crystal Truesdale of Angier, NC and Steve Owens of Gastonia; great-grandchild, Aiden Lynch.

Her funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm Saturday, October 31, 2015 at Sisk-Butler Funeral & Cremation Services, Bessemer City, with Rev. Richard Williams officiating.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.

Interment will follow at Evergreen Cemetery, Belmont, NC.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Mission of Truevine Church of God of Gastonia.
