Claude Spargo Warren, 71, of Bessemer City, died October 3, 2014, at Caromont Regional Medical Center. He was born May 9, 1943, in Gaston County to the late Ernest M and Dorothy Spargo Warren.

Claude was a member of First Free Will Baptist Church, Gastonia, worked for Carolina Freight and was Matthew's personal driver. He was an Untied States Marine Veteran, member the General Raymond G. Davis Detachment #1162 of the Marine Corp League and Gaston County Honor Guard.

Funeral Services will be Monday at 2:00 PM at First Free Will Baptist Church, Gastonia with Revs. John and Darin Gibbs officiating.

Visitation will be from 6:00-8:00 PM Sunday at Sisk-Butler Funeral and Cremation Services.

Interment will be at Gaston Memorial Park with Military Honors.

He is survived by his wife Linda Warren of the home; son Jerry Warren of Kings Mountain; daughter Karen Jean Warren of Dallas; brothers Frank Warren of Belmont, Everette Warren of Mt. Holly and Ted Warren of Mt. Holly; sister Ann Hedman of Cornelius.

He is preceded in death by his grandson Matthew Claude Warren and brother Ernest M. Warren, Jr..
