Clifford Lamar Scruggs, 63, of Gastonia passed away on November 7, 2014, at home. He was born January 15, 1951 in Gaston County to the late Clarence Monroe and Janie Elizabeth Milligan Scruggs.
In addition to his parents, Clifford was preceded in death by his wife, Ina Jean Epps Scruggs; brothers, Clarence "Sonny" Scruggs, Richard Scruggs.
He is survived by his daughters, Shawn Scruggs, Christy Scruggs; grandchildren, Brandon Pressley and Haley Truett; sister, Barbara Scruggs of Montreal, Canada; nephew, Michael Scruggs and wife Gloria of Bessemer City.
His graveside service will be held Wednesday at11:00 am at Armstrong Cemetery.
The family will have visitation Tuesday from 6:30-8:00 pm at Sisk-Butler Funeral and Cremation Services in Bessemer City.
