David Mcgee

David Michael "Shorty" McGee, 46, of Gastonia, passed away on Thursday June 18, 2015 at home. He was born on August 26, 1968 in Gaston County, to Brenda Saunders McGee Harding of Bessemer City and the late James Gary McGee.

He was preceded in death by his brother, James Larry McGee; step-father, Clarence Ace Harding

In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife, Anna McGee of Marble, NC; sons, Timothy Garrett of Marble, NC, Adam C. McGee, David Brandon McGee both of Gastonia; brother, Kenneth McGee of Gastonia; sister, Dee Dee Baker and husband Billy of Lincolnton; grandson, DJ McGee of Gastonia; nephew, Blake Baker; nieces, Riley, Addison, and Sydney Baker.

His funeral service will be at 3:00 PM Wednesday, June 24, 2015 in the Sisk-Butler Chapel with Pastor Leo Kuykendall officiating.

The family will receive friends from 2:00 pm to 2:45 pm prior to the service at the funeral home.

Interment will follow in Hollywood Cemetery, Gastonia North Carolina.

In lieu of flowers, the family request that donations be made to Brandon McGee at 114 Snowshoe Court Gastonia, NC 28052, to help with funeral cost.
