Larry Paysour

David Larry Paysour, 78, of Dallas, passed away at Caromont Regional Medical Center, Gastonia, on February 20, 2024. He was born August 1, 1945, in Gaston County, to the late James Lester Paysour and Alice Stockton Paysour.

He is preceded in death by brothers, Frank Paysour and Ernest Paysour.

Larry worked for 35 years at Victory Mills in Gastonia. He retired from Gaylord Mills after 6 years of service. He was a great brother and a caring friend. He will be missed by all who knew him.

Left to cherish his memories are his brothers, Audie Cornelius Paysour (Dorothy), James Paysour (Nina); sisters, Barbara Oates (Henry), Darlene Pruett (Merle), Doris Head, Frances Burtrum (Mike); numerous nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM to 11:45 AM at Sisk-Butler Funeral Home, Bessemer City, NC on Friday, February 23, 2024.

Larry’s Funeral Service will follow at 12:00 PM with Rev. Rick Lewis officiating and Rev. Ron Duncan musician.

Interment will follow at Evergreen Cemetery, A Quiet Place, in Belmont.
