David Styles, Jr.

David Styles, Jr., 77, of Kings Mountain passed away peacefully on Wednesday, May 9, 2018 at Testa Family Hospice House, Kings Mountain. He was born in Mitchell County on January 13, 1941 to the late Dave Tap and Dorothy Riddle Styles.

Left to cherish his memory is his wife, Janet Sipes Styles; daughter Tammie Styles Long and Kenney Clontz of Kings Mountain; son David Scott Styles and Donna of Clover, SC; granddaughters Amanda Deanna Long and Darin Johnson of Kings Mountain, Heather Sims Piper and Jonathan English of Shelby; grandsons Jonathan Scott Long of Dallas, Texas, Nathan David Styles and Taylor of York, SC; great-grandsons Jayden Titus Johnson, Jonah Benjamin Johnson both of Kings Mountain, Caleb Piper, Ethan Piper both of Hickory Grove, SC, Tyler Walker of Shelby, Samuel David Styles of York, SC

A Celebration of David's life will be held at 11:00 am Saturday, May 12, 2018 at Sisk-Butler Funeral & Cremation Services, Bessemer City with Pastor Jeff Wilson officiating.
Interment will follow at Mountain Rest Cemetery, Kings Mountain.

His family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 pm Friday, May 11, 2018 at the funeral home.
