Deborah Ann Summey

Deborah Ann Summey, 72, of Bessemer City, passed away at Caromont Regional on August 17, 2024. She was born June 14, 1952, in Gaston County, to the late William Parrish and Louise Helen Wooten Parrish.

She is preceded in death by her parents, and brother, Robbie Dale.

Deborah attended Ranlo Freewill Baptist Church. She was a very giving and caring lady that would help anyone even if she did not know them. As a LPN, she helped patients in need by taking care of their medical needs. She loved going to the beach and going to church. She adored her grandbabies which meant everything to her.

Left to cherish her memories are sons, Dean Davis (Brittany), Billy Summey; brother, Hoppy Parrish (Louise); grandchildren, Kenna Davis, and Kaidin Davis.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Ranlo Freewill Baptist Church on Wednesday, August 21, 2024.

Deborah’s Funeral Service will be at 2:00 pm on Thursday, August 22, 2024, at Ranlo Freewill Baptist Church with Pastor Jeremy Carson officiating.

Interment will follow at Sunnyside Baptist Church Cemetery.
