Derik Foster

Derik John Foster, 58, passed away at Caromont Regional Medical Center on Thursday, July 16, 2020. He was born February 11, 1962 in Mecklenburg County to the late Clayton Paul Foster, II and Joyce Bray Foster Sheppard.

He was retired from Oakwood Homes after 30 years of service and was their Top Salesman for many years. He was a member of Webbs Chapel Baptist Church.

Derik was the most positive, loving, caring person you could meet and was the best daddy in the world.

Left to cherish his memories are his wife of 35 years Sandra Grainger Foster; daughters Treasure Erika Foster Stewart of Bessemer City, NC and Fawn Michele Foster of Greer, SC; brother Clayton Paul Foster, III of Charleston, SC; and sister Karen Foster Brooks of Dallas, NC.

He will lie in state from 1:00 PM – 2:00 PM at Webbs Chapel Baptist Church on Sunday, July 19, 2020.

Derik’s funeral service will be held 2:00 PM on Sunday, July 19, 2020 at Webbs Chapel Baptist Church with Rev. Tim Spencer officiating.

Interment will follow at High Shoals Memorial Cemetery, High Shoals, NC.
