Dorothy Holmes

Dorothy Ruth “Dot” Holmes, 66, passed away on Monday, October 7, 2019 at Caromont Regional Medical Center, Gastonia. She was born on May 26, 1953 in Iredell County to the late Willie and Florence Seaman Brown.

Dot was preceded in death by her daughter Michelle Costner.

Left to cherish her memories are her husband Burton Russell Holmes; son Bubba Costner, Jr. and wife Suzanna; daughters Tammy Begley and husband Terry, Charlene Costner; sisters, Patsy May, Mildred Huffstetler brothers Tommy Brown, Bill Brown; 17 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren.

Following the service, her family and friends will be meeting at 234 Loray Farm Road Dallas to celebrate the life of Dot.
