Eddie Shook

Dallas, North Carolina

Eddie Dean "Butch" Shook, age 50, passed away on Friday, December 15, 2017 at Caromont Regional Medical Center, Gastonia. He was born June 7, 1967 in Gaston County, son to the late Franklin Odell and Wilma Haas Shook.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brother Paul Shook.

Butch was retired from North Gaston High School as a maintenance supervisor after 30 years, and was a retired member of the Dallas Volunteer Fire Department and Spencer Mountain Volunteer Fire Department.

Left to cherish his memories are his sisters Barbara Ann Shook and Betty Shook both of Dallas; nephews Mickey Shook and wife Jessica and Joshua Shook and wife Amber; great nephews Jacob Johnson, Cameron Shook, and Holden Shook; great niece Layla Shook; great-great-nephew Hayden Johnson.

His funeral will be held at 12:00 pm Tuesday, December 19, 2017 at the chapel of Sisk-Butler Funeral and Cremation Services with Rev. Barron Lee officiating.

His family will receive friends from 11:00 AM to 12: 00 PM Tuesday, December 19, 2017 at the funeral home.

Interment will follow in Gaston Memorial Park.
