Ella Bingham

Ella Mae Hester Bingham, 78, of Lincolnton, died June 24, 2014, at Robin Johnson House, Dallas. She was born October 27, 1935 in Lincoln County to the late Evan Wilson and Beulah Hendrix Hester.

Ella's family wishes to thank the staff at Robin Johnson House for their special care of their love one.

In addition to her parents, Mae was preceded in death by her loving husband of 44 years, Sid Bingham, sisters Joyce Lingerfelt, Betty Thompson, and Evelyn Cambige, brothers, Lewis Hester, David Hester.

She is survived by her son, Bobby Summey and wife Donna of Cherryville, Tim Bingham of South Carolina ; sister, Sue Whistnant of Lincolnton; grandchildren, Greg Summey, Christy Sherbert, Curtis Summey; 5 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 1:30 pm Friday at Sisk-Butler Funeral Home, Bessemer City with Rev. Jim Friday officiating.

The family will receive friends from 12:00 till 1:30 pm prior to the service.

Interment will follow at Gaston Memorial Park, Gastonia.
