EMILY CONNER

Emily Nance Conner, 44, passed away on Sunday, April 28, 2019 at Catawba Valley Medical Center, Hickory. She was born April 21, 1975 in Gulf Port Mississippi to Debbie Logan Schmitz of Calhoun City, Mississippi and the late Tony Nance.

Left to cherish her memories are her husband John Braxton Conner, Jr.; son Alex Conner of Lenoir; her “daughter” Lily; daughter Toni Horsley of Lenoir; mother Debbie Schmitz and husband Tommy of Calhoun City, Mississippi; father-in-law Johnny Conner, Sr. of Bessemer City; brother-in-law Tony Conner and wife Oletia of Bessemer City; niece Caylie Conner; nephew Cade Conner; brothers and sisters.

Emily’s memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, May 1, 2019 at the Chapel of Sisk-Butler Funeral & Cremation Services with Pastor Sherman Branch officiating.

Her family will receive friends from 1:00 to 2:00 pm Wednesday, May 1, 2019 at the funeral home.

Interment will follow in the Bessemer City Memorial Cemetery.
