Emma Loftin

Emma Mae Hudgins Loftin, 82, of Kings Mountain, died peacefully on May 5,2016 at Testa Family Hospice. She was born on May 15, 1933 in York County, SC to the late William and Lilly Mathis Hudgins.

She was a member of Westover Baptist Church, loved going to church, attending church singings and was retired from textiles.

Emma was survived by her sons Fred Loftin, Charles Loftin, Ralph Loftin, and Wilmer Loftin; daughter Denise Cartwright; sisters Sarah Fowler and Betty Earl; 11 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband Fred Loftin and daughter Teresa Dixon

Her funeral service will be held at 1:00 pm Saturday, May 7, 2016 at the chapel of Sisk-Butler Funeral and Cremation Services with Rev. Tim Spencer officiating.

Interment will follow at Mountain Rest Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from noon to 1 pm at the funeral home.
