ETHEL LINEBERGER MARTIN



Ethel Lineberger Martin, 86, of Bessemer City, passed away October 7, 2012, at her residence.  She was born July 25, 1926 in Gaston County to Frank Julius and Elizabeth Holland Lineberger.



Ethel was a longtime member of Gaston Baptist Church. She worked at Wix Filters and she was also a CNA where she shared her gift of patience and care.   Ethel was a blessed mother, grandmother, and friend who will be dearly missed by all that loved and knew her.  The family would like to offer special thanks to all family and friends who shared their love and support during Mom's illness.



Ethel and Charlie Howard Martin are the parents to sons Charles L. Martin; Charlie H. Martin, Jr., Jerry R. Martin, and Bruce G. Martin; daughters Gloria J. Drum, Laura B. Martin, Patricia A. Smith, and Darlene E. Stewart; grandparents to 19 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren



Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM Wednesday at Sisk-Butler Funeral Home Chapel, Bessemer City with Revs. Ken Faulkenbury and Dennis Bean officiating.



The family will receive friends from 12:00-1:00 Wednesday at the funeral home.



Entombment will be at Gaston Memorial Park, Gastonia

Pallbearers are Richard Drum, Brian Drum, Jeff Drum, Chris Drum, Kyle A. Martin, Barry Beschure.



Honorary Pallbearers are Darin Housen and Jerry Martin, Jr.
