Eunice Dowell

Eunice Jenkins Dowell, 83, of Dallas, passed away August 20, 2014, at Caromont Regional Medical Center. She was born May 29, 1931 in Gaston County to the late William and Rosie Norris Jenkins.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Dowell, son Terry Dowell, daughter Charlotte Richardson, brothers Cletus Jenkins, Lawrance Jenkins, William Jenkins, Lee Jenkins, Ralph Jenkins, and Steve Jenkins, sister Geraldine Godfrey.

Eunice is survived by her son Harold Dowell Jr. and wife Bobbie of Dallas, daughter, Robin Hadden of Gastonia, brothers Gene Jenkins and Charles Jenkins, sisters Ann Weeb and Barbara Lowe, seven grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 2 PM Saturday August 23, 2014 in the Sisk-Butler Chapel with the Rev. Tim Hargrave officiating.

The family will receive friends on Friday August 22, 2014 from 6 to 8 pm at Sisk-Butler Funeral & Cremation services, Bessemer City.

Interment will follow at Gaston Memorial Park, Gastonia.
