Evelyn Huffstickler

Evelyn Cox Huffstickler, 84, of Kings Mountain, passed away September 7, 2014. She was born on September 23, 1929, in Cleveland County, NC, to the late Viola Mae Cox.

Evelyn is survived by her son Toney Peavey and wife Joyce of Kings Mountain; daughter Karen Peavey Anthony of Kings Mountain; granddaughters Rhonda Barber (Kevin) of Kings Mountain, Tonya Clary of Kings Mountain, Roxanne Green (Dwayne) of Kings Mountain, and Crystal Ellison (Phillip) of Gastonia; granddaughter-in-law Adriana Arellano Grigg of Ladson, SC; grandsons Michael Clary of Kings Mountain, Shane Peavey of Kings Mountain, and Kevin
Anthony (Heather) of Kings Mountain; great grandsons Lee Clary, Bryson Barber, Clay Barber, Colt Barber, Landon Summit, Austin Anthony, and Matthew Anthony; great granddaughters Kourtni Ellison, Kailey Duncan, Nichole Proctor, Breanna Grigg, Kyla Grigg, Hanna Arellano, Cloe Anthony; great-great-grandchildren Piper Green, Tucker Green, and Jayden Cavanaugh

She was preceded in death by her mother, husband Paul Henry Huffstickler, daughter Linda Peavey Clary, brother Eugene Green, grandsons Tabin Barber and Oliver Kyle Grigg

Her funeral service will be 3:00 PM Monday at East Gold Street Wesleyan Church in Kings Mountain with Rev. Scott Whitney and Edwin Criscoe officiating.

The family will receive friends one hour before the service.

Interment will follow at Mountain Rest Cemetery, Kings Mountain.
