EVELYN STONE

Evelyn Paulette Carroll Stone, 60, of Bessemer City, passed away on Sunday, March 18, 2018 at home surrounded by her family. She was born October 21, 1957 in Greenville, SC, daughter to the late Milford Darroll and Mildred Geneva Johnson Carroll.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her sister Vickie Carroll; brother Tommy Carroll.

Left to cherish her memory are her fiancé Aaron Smith of Bessemer City; children Norma Jean Merck of Greenville, SC, Ronnie Blakely, Carroll Lowell, Michelle Webb and fiancé Mike Allen, Tommy Webb, Diana Cornwell and husband Tommy, Amanda Smith and husband Thomas, Amber Stone and fiancé Tyler Wyatt all of Bessemer City; sisters and brothers Elizabeth Jones and husband David of Bessemer City , Lesia Atkins of Orlando, FL, Ray Carroll and Billy Carroll both of Georgia; 26; grandchildren, 4 great-great-grandchildren.

Her funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM Thursday, March 22, 2018 at Sisk-Butler Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Larry Law officiating.

Interment will follow at Bessemer City Memorial Cemetery.

Her family will receive friends Wednesday, March 21, 2018 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at the funeral home.
