Frankie Moore

Frankie Carl Moore, Sr., 68, passed away on Thursday, November 10, 2016 at home. He was born April 2, 1948 in Gaston county to the late Carlyle and Mary Grace Berry Moore.

Frankie was a member of New Life Baptist Church and started the Brotherhood to help the community with projects. He liked camping, fishing, woodworking and helping others. Frankie was a veteran of the United States Army.

Left to cherish his memories are his wife, Ann Moore; daughter, Kelly Welborn and husband Tim of Shelby; sons, Frankie Moore, Jr. and Linda of Booneville, Jeff Tinker and Ginny of Gastonia; brothers, Gary Moore and wife Pam of Kings Mountain, Warren Moore of Lawndale; sister, Cindy Moore of Cherryville; mother-in-law, Jean Grass of Kannapolis; 6 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren.

His funeral service will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday, November 13, 2016 at New Life Baptist Church. Bessemer City with Dr. Gene Ware and Pastor Dennis Gomez officiating.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 - 8:00 pm Saturday, November 12, 2016 at the church.

Interment will be at Long Creek Presbyterian Church Cemetery.
