Gene Eaves

Gene Wallace Eaves, 79, of Lincolnton, passed away on September 1, 2021, at CaroMont Regional Medical Center. He was born June 2, 1942, in Gaston County to the late
Douglas Fred and Emma Laws Eaves.

He was preceded in death by his brothers, Jerry and Fred Eaves; sister, Jane Shriner.

Gene loved spending time with his wife and family. He enjoyed fishing and playing poker.

Left to cherish his memory is his wife, Wilma Marie Eaves; sons, Chris and Chad Eaves; daughter, Wilma J. Eaves; brothers, David, Howard, James Carl “JC,” and Robert Eaves; sisters, Margie Glover and Catherine Hatcher; 10 grandchildren; 1 great grandchild.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM at Sisk Butler Funeral Home on Friday, September 3, 2021.

Gene’s graveside service will be held 11:00 AM on Saturday, September 4, 2021, at Bessemer City Memorial Cemetery with Mike “Bubba” Glover officiating.
