Gladys Hardy

Gladys Jeraldine Collins Hardy, 64, passed away on April 11, 2015, at Carolinas Medical Center, Charlotte. She was born August 17, 1950 in Bryson City to the late John Marion and Minnie Etta Cochran Collins.
She is survived by her husband of 47 years, Horace Hardy, Jr.; her son, Barry E. Hardy and wife Rebecca; her daughter, Melissa Hardy; five grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; three brothers; and five sisters.
Gladys was a member of Sandy Ford Freewill Baptist Church in Mount Holly for 20 years. She was a wonderful wife, loving mother, and terrific grandmother. She will be greatly missed.
Her family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 PM Tuesday at Sisk-Butler Funeral & Cremation Services.
Funeral services will be held at 2PM Wednesday at the funeral home chapel with Rev. Odell Cook and Rev. Vernon Cope officiating.
Interment will follow at Westview Gardens Cemetery.
