Gladys Louella Farmer Holland, 100, passed away peacefully on Monday, January 15, 2018, at Carolina Care Health & Rehabilitation, Cherryville. She was born October 27, 1917 in Greenville County, SC, daughter of the late Grover and Ethel Campbell Farmer.

Gladys was a member of Holland Memorial Baptist Church in Bessemer City. She retired from the Ragan Mill (JP Stevens) after more than 45 years of service.

She was preceded in death by her husband Wilburn Ray Holland; 5 brothers.

Left to cherish her memories are her sons Ray Holland and wife Patricia of Bessemer City, Dan Holland and wife Ann of Dallas; daughters Emily Whitworth and husband Frank of Bessemer City, Margaret Louella "Lucy" Cloninger and husband Ronnie; brother Ray Farmer; 6 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren.

Gladys funeral will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, January 19, 2018 at Sisk-Butler Funeral & Cremation Services with Rev. Jerry Millwood officiating.

Her family will receive friends Friday, January 19, 2018 from 12:00 to 1:00 pm prior to her service at the funeral home.

Interment will follow at Westview Gardens, Bessemer City.
