Grace Ruff

Grace Page Ruff, 90, of Kings Mountain, passed away on January 29, 2015, at Kings Mountain Hospital. She was born November 22, 1924 in Cleveland County to the late Ben and Alice Gantt Page.

Grace was a member of the First Church of the Nazarene in Kings Mountain. She was awarded the Distinguished Service Award, the highest award given in the Church of the Nazarene.

In addition to her parents, Grace was preceded in death by her husband, Herman Thomas Ruff; daughter, Nyoka Ruff Galloway; brothers, Vester Page, Bobby Page; sisters, MaryEllen Page, Irene P. Perry, Myrtle P. Roberts, and Helen P. Cash.

She is survived by her sons, Rev. Roy Ruff, (Sheri) of Garden City, SC, Steve Ruff (Mackie) of Kings Mountain, Joe Ruff (Jessie) of Lincolnton, NC; daughter, Evelyn R. Neal of Cherryville; brother, Ben "Pete" Page of Kings Mountain; 14 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; 4 great-great-grandchildren.

Her funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM Sunday, February 1, 2015 at the First Church of the Nazarene, 127 Countryside Road, Kings Mountain with the Rev. Winston Morrison officiating.

Interment will follow at Mountain Rest Cemetery, Kings Mountain.

Visitation will be held Saturday, January 31, 2015 from 6:00 - 8:00 PM at the church.
