Harold Edward Perry, 71, passed away at his residence on Wednesday, August 26, 2020. He was born August 31, 1948 in Gaston County to the late Leonard Perry and Gladys Hicks Perry.

Harold was a United States Army veteran serving in Vietnam and worked for Kerns Trucking for 18 years as a driver.

Left to cherish his memories are his daughters, Melisha Cook and husband Greg of Clover, SC, Nikki Tillett and friend Robert Davis of Courtland, Va.; grandchildren Tyler Ellis and wife Taylor, Kayla Ellis and Anton Whitted, Darian Greene and Travis Snyder, and Angel Ray and husband Austin; great-grandchildren Kaydence and Weston Ellis, Avery and Asher Ray; aunt Rev. Dorothy Lowery and aunt Frances Taylor and husband Monroe.

Harold will lie in state from 2:00 PM – 3:00 PM at Sisk-Butler Funeral Home on Friday, August 28, 2020.

Harold’s funeral service will be held 3:00 PM on Friday, August 28, 2020 at Sisk-Butler Funeral Chapel with Rev. Matt Mitchell, and Rev. Dorothy Lowery officiating.

Interment will follow at Bessemer City Memorial Cemetery.
