HARVEY "DUCKY" TIDAY

Harvey "Ducky" Tiday 67 of Bessemer City passed away on Tuesday, February 10, 2015 at home. He was born on July 29, 1947 in Cabarrus County to the late James Calvin and Annie Mae Tiday.

Ducky was a member of the Dallas Church of God.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Audrey Tiday; sister, Sissy Tiday Morrison.

Survivors include his daughters, Tonya Hoermann and husband Johnathan, Dede Tiday, Samantha Tiday all of Bessemer City, Dana Sanders and husband Damon of Gastonia; sisters, Mary Lou Smith and Libby Ledwell both of Coalstrap Montana; grandchildren, Maddie, Daphney and DJ.

Ducky's funeral service will be held 2:00 pm Saturday at the Dallas Church of God with the Rev. Danny Shortridge officiating.

Visitation will be from 12:30 to 2:00 pm prior to the service at the church.

Interment will follow at Bessemer City Memorial Cemetery.
