Helen Louise Warlick Taylor, 86, of Bessemer City, went to be with the Lord on Sunday November 5, 2017 while at Caromont Regional Medical Center. She was born January 29, 1931 in Gaston County, daughter to the late Henry Clinton and Marie Steele Warlick.
She was preceded in death by her husband James Earl Taylor; brothers, Frank, Bill, and Albert Warlick; and her sister, Frances Warlick.
Helen loved to crochet.
Left to cherish her memory are her son Doc Taylor of Bessemer City, daughters Ann Burleson and husband James of Bessemer City, Linda Elkins and husband Nip of Gastonia, Darlene Leonhardt and husband Ronnie of Cherryville, Debbie Carpenter and husband Curtis of Shelby; brother Jimmy Warlick and wife Gillis of Clover, SC; sister Tina Wiley and husband Grady of Bessemer City; 8 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; one great-great-granddaughter.
The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon Wednesday, November 8, 2017 at Sisk-Butler Funeral Home.
Her graveside service will be held immediately following the visitation at Bessemer City Memorial Cemetery with Rev. Wes Brown officiating.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the First Wesleyan Church Building Fund, P. O. Box 682, Bessemer City, NC 28016.
