Henry Ledford

Henry Gene Ledford, 78, of Gastonia, passed away at CaroMont Regional Medical Center on July 22, 2021. He was born January 1, 1943, in Polk County, Tennessee to the late Walter Ledford and Grace Brewster Ledford.

He was preceded in death by brother, Dean Ledford and sisters, Shirley McNichols and Peggy Croft.

Left to cherish his memories are his wife of 61 years, Kathryn Ledford; daughters, Lori Duncan (James), Crystal Jennings (Mike); son, Michael Ledford; grandchildren, Christopher Duncan (Lindsay), Brittany Rose (Jonathan); Michael Jennings, Jr. (Shyla), Tiffany Seay (Steven), Austin Ledford (Alicia), Grace Ledford, Charlie Ledford; great-grandchildren, Thea Rose, Kaylee Rose, Logan Rose, and Parker Duncan.

He will lie in state from 12:30 PM – 1:30 PM at The Freewill Church of Jesus Christ, 145 Hamrick Rd. Gastonia, NC 28056 on Sunday, July 25, 2021.

Henry’s funeral service will be held 1:30 PM on Sunday, July 25, 2021, at The Freewill Church of Jesus Christ with Revs. Jimmy Cash and David Chapman officiating.

Interment will follow at Evergreen Cemetery.
