HYTHERN WALKER

Hythern Audrey Walker, 61, of Kings Mountain, passed away March 12, 2013 at Robin Johnson House, Dallas. She was born on October 4, 1951 in West Virginia, to the late John and Hazel Smith Woods.

She is preceded in death by her husband Daniel Walker; brother, Pete Woods.

She is survived by her son, Corey Woods and wife Tammy of Kings Mountain; brother, Willie Woods of Oak Hill, West Virginia; sisters; Thalia Espy and husband Harold of New Jersey, Lenora Willis of Charlotte, Sandra Austin of India Trail, Barbara Dickerson of New Jersey, Hattie Lee of Seattle, Washington; , grandchildren, Tristan Howsare, Danielle Kibble, Paige Reel 5 great-grandchildren.

Her funeral service will be held at 2:30 pm Sunday at St. James Missionary Baptist Church, Bessemer City with Rev. A. Wayne Love officiating.

Interment will follow at Mountain Rest Cemetery, Kings Mountain.

The family will receive friends from 4:00-600 pm Saturday at the church.
