Jack Parker

Jack Anderson Parker, 72, of Clover, passed away on Thursday, November 6, 2014 at home. He was born October 3, 1942 in Haywood County, NC to the late Anderson and Louise Lanning Parker.

In addition to his parents, Jack was preceded in death by his wife, Lucy Robinson Parker; brother Johnny Parker; sisters Shirley Summitt and Betty Parker.

He is survived by his daughters, Judy Desjardins, Mary Smith, Cathy Hunt and Bonnie Hilton; sister, Barbara Greene; grandchildren, Christy Heavener, Alan Heavener, Casey Lunsford, Moses Heavener, Jennifer Hunt, Emily Smith, Kody Desjardins, Matthew Hunt; great-grandchildren, Karson Race, Liam Heavener; fiancée, Virginia Sample.

His memorial service will be held Monday, November 10, 2014 at 10:00 AM at Sisk-Butler Funeral & Cremation Services, Bessemer City, with Rev. Marvin Carson officiating.

The family will receive friends one hour before the service, at the funeral home.
