Jackie Dean Fidler, 69, of Dallas passed away on August 30, 2021, at CaroMont Regional Medical Center. He was born August 10, 1952, in Iredell County to the late Jackson Lee Robbins and Janie Mae Fidler.
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Tammy Fidler; granddaughter, baby girl St. Clair; brother, Merlin Fidler; sister, Patsy Knox.
Jackie was employed by Hazmat Transportation and Disposal. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. Jackie loved spending time at Z-Max dragway.
Left to cherish his memory is his wife, Linda Fidler; son, Rocky Fidler (Kristin); daughters, Wendy McDonald (Earl), Carrie Kromer (Buddy), and Amber Fidler (Matthew); grandchildren, Austin Mixon, Tyler Fidler, Ashton Brown, Matthew Kromer, Marie St. Clair, Tyler O’Neal, Caspian St. Clair, Grayson St. Clair, Jaxson St. Clair, Robbie Bowles, Maddy Bowles, Brittany Wooten, Ashley Wooten, Krystal Littlefield, Brooke Martin, Chevy Kromer, Mackenzie Leming, and Hunter Summey; step-sister, Pat Childers.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM at Sisk Butler Funeral Home on Wednesday, September 1, 2021.
Jackie’s funeral service will be held 2:00 PM on Thursday, September 2, 2021, at Sisk Butler Funeral Home with Pastor Chad Parker officiating.
Interment will follow at Long Creek Baptist Church Cemetery, Dallas.
