Jacob Costner, Jr.

Jacob Costner, Jr., 87, of Gastonia, passed away at his residence on April 15, 2022. He was born November 14, 1934, in Gaston County, to the late Jacob Eliza Costner and Evelyn Elmore Kirksey.

He is preceded in death by his wife of 63 years, Vivian Vernell Costner; siblings, Bertie R Russell, Carl L Costner, and David E Costner.

Left to cherish his memories are his children, Mike Costner (Celia), Brian Costner, Jeffery Costner, Anita Friday (Clyde), Rhonda Wilkinson (Mike), and Susan Fowler (Tommy); 13 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.

Jacob’s memorial visitation will be announced at a later date.
