James Brownell

James Earl Brownell 59, passed away on Friday, March 3, 2017 at home. He was born February 19, 1958 in North Kingstown, RI to the late Richard Ellery and Elizabeth Ann Lewis Brownell.

He was preceded in death by his wife's Polly Detter Brownell and Barbara Ann Caldwell Brownell.

Left to cherish his memories is his sister Judy Burns of Rogers, AR.; brothers Ben Brownell of Gulf Port, Fl., Charles Howard of St. Pete, Fl., and Patrick Brownell of South Kingstown, RI. Step Mother Barbara Brownell, South Kingstown, RI; numerous step children and step grandchildren

His funeral service will be held at 3:00 p.m. Tuesday, March 7, 2017 at Souls Harbor Tabernacle Church, Gastonia with Rev. James Chambers officiating.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.

Interment will follow at Olney Presbyterian Church Cemetery, Gastonia.
