Janice Hollifield

Janice Louise Williams Hollifield, 70, of Bessemer City, passed away July 13, 2015 at home. She was born October 28, 1944 in Madison County, Ohio to the late Wilbur Vernon and Ellen Whalen Rice.

She was preceded in death by her husband, of 45 years Roy Williams, sisters Grace Sharp and Margarite Swigart; brothers William, John, and Lester Channel, Jr., Step-Grandchild Kimberly Dawn Carpenter

Janice was survived by her husband Gary K. Hollifield; sons Randy Williams (wife Kim) of Gastonia and Bradley Williams (wife Debra) of Kings Mountain; daughter Kristy London (husband Tony) of Bessemer City; grandchildren Lauren, Robin and Emily Williams, and Bethany, Cassidy, Jacob and Jude London; step children Tina, Chris and Tara Hollifield; step grandchildren Michael and Matthew Carpenter; sister Pauline "Polly" Titus; sisters-in-law Connie Williams (husband Ed) and Phyllis Reuhland; special friends and caregivers Jane Kaiser, Patsy Sellers and Tina Rowland.

Her memorial service will be held 12:00 noon Thursday, at Sisk-Butler Funeral & Cremations Services, Bessemer City with Rev. Ed Williams and Rev. Danny Gardner officiating.

The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 pm Wednesday, at Sisk-Butler Funeral & Cremations Services.
